Taxonomy of IPM practices

Harmonised taxonomy of the innovative practices and systems [D2.1]

A database with a systematised list of pesticide reducing practices with harmonised nomenclature

Starting from the eight IPM principles we classify IPM practices by describing them in 4 hierarchical layers. This systematic mapping of practices leads to a harmonisation of nomenclature within the taxonomy, and beyond, will ensure a similar level of resolution in each practice layer across the different practices. The classification of practices will facilitate the usage of this taxonomy as a tool to farmers and advisors as well as linking it to policies.

An interactive version of this taxonomy of IPM practices is available on the dedicated website.

Here you will find the taxonomy on its own:

You can also download here the complete deliverable (D2.1), including an explanation of how to read the taxonomy and what its levels are.

Or access here the complete taxonomy with metadata and pesticide reduction volume and evaluated impacts (D2.3).
