This deliverable (D3.3) of the AGROWISE project examines why the efficiency of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and agroecology-based practices varies across regions in Europe. The analysis focuses on biophysical and agronomic factors at site level — including climate, soil, landscape, biodiversity, pest dynamics, and legacy effects. Socioeconomic conditions and policy contexts are excluded, as Task 3.4 aims to isolate ecological drivers of variability. To date, no comparable framework has systematically assessed these drivers, making this deliverable a first step towards filling this gap.

Quantification of the actual deployment of practices and systems and the potential acreage of implementation [D3.1]

Task 2.3 aims to review existing metrics and propose standardized metric(s) to compare crop protection practices and systems across the European Union.
